lol Definately homemade KB! You can do it!! Dont have to be anything fancy right!? I mean is it the thought or the perfectness of the gift itself? Things done from the heart are way more appreciated. So whatcha gonna do??

Well you go girl! I have never tried to make a shaped cake with decorated icing like that. My sis can do that stuff, she used to work in a bakery decorating cakes. Im just not that much into baking. But I bake my hubby one for his bday.

I think a home-made cake is better. It's more personal. ;-D I'm sure he'll LOVE it! ;-D

Depends. If you have time to make a cake and are skilled at decorating the cake (harder than it looks!), then by all means, go with homemade. If not, order one, but make sure to get a "toned-down" flavor of ice cream to offset the sickeningly sweet bakery frosting.

As I sit here inhaling the sweet smell of fresh baked cake, I have no choice but to choose homemade. :)
Nope it is not my birthday and we are not celebrating. We just love sweets :)
