I received a link to a video that will make all who choose to watch it a little more aware of what we are facing when it comes to the safety of products we and our families use on a daily basis. It is done with a humorous slant. I am providing the link for those who would like to view it: www.NotInMyCart.org

That is cute, but really truthful. It is easy for things to slip through. I do think it could be better monitored if it was done here in the states.

I agree with you, Thoroughrob. At least all the media attention should bring some positive results. I just hope it doesn't all go awy as soon as the attention shifts to something else.

Hello! As a mother it worries me a lot about the toy safety especially a lot of toy products are being recalled nowadays. It's not a laughing matter and it should be taken seriously because the lives of innocent children are at stake. Buying toys suppose to be a fun-enjoyable game not a guessing-worrying game. It's true..those unsafe toys should never reach store shelves in the first place. Thanks for the info worldwise1! Take care. *smile* ciao! c",)

Ya, even i recieved a mail which shows about some slipper which was made in china and that is so much harmful to the health. I dont know whether proper checks of the products is being done or not. But seeing the situtation, it clearly indicates that the products safety is not being checked.

We can only hope, mdchennai, that the "watchdogs" will stay on them to ensure that we get quality products.

Thank you worldwise, not only did I watch the video but signed the letter and sent it. Yes, it was a parody, but oh, how true it is!

Yes, pyewacket, but I'm afraid the message won't really get out until something awful happens. Our people seem to forget so quickly and go right back to the status quo.
