I was signing the receipt for my credit card purchase when the clerk noticed I had never signed my name on the back of the credit card.
She informed me that she couldn't complete the transaction unless the card was signed. When I asked why, she explained that it was necessary to compare the signature I had just signed on the receipt. So I signed the credit card in front of her. She carefully compared the signature to the one I had just signed on the receipt. As luck would have it, they matched.

That is really funny. Yes she was an idiot. I always put on the back of my cards"See Photo ID". That way they have to check my drivers license and it has my signature on it. That way if the a theif tries to use it and they ask to see ID, they are busted on the spot!
I gave you a + for this story!

I know what you mean. If you had stolen this credit card and had signed it then what? It's the same, yes? I asked one of the clerks in the bamnk I use and he looked at me like I was from another planet.

Well, how about that! You performed a miracle. Most minimum wage workers aren't hired for their brains. When I used to hire factory personnel for the company I worked for, they'd often tell me something like, "Hire me 3 warm bodies. All they have to be is breathing."
