how many discussions?

hello all you mylotters out there, i was just wondering if you actually know how many topics that you have started here at mylot?
i just had a look at all the ones i have made, and the grand total has come to an astonishing 112 (well 113 when this one is up and going).
i never thought it was that many, but when i was looking for a particular topic that i had written a while ago, i thought "how many have i done all together??" well now i know lol.
what about you?? or have you made so many you can't count them all hehe?

I have been here two days and already started 4, however the number after my name did not change when I started a new one do you know why are we getting paid for the posts we start?

to find the ammount of topics you have started, you would need to select the option " topics i have started".
the number next to your name denotes the ammount of times you have responded to other peoples topics.
you will get paid for making and replying to topics, but i have no idea how much you get paid per post ect.

I have only been a member for a few days and only started posting two days ago. My goal is to start ten discussions a day. So far I have reached that goal two days, so far, and have twenty discussions started. I haven't started any yet, today but I will. Right now I'm still in my PJs and just responding to a few discussions. I will be taking a break soon and take a shower and get dressed and do my house work and then I'll come back and start some discussions and do more responding. I see some people on my friends list don't start any discussions. I guess they just like to respond. In my opinion, you get more money by starting your own discussions, especially if you get a lot of responses. I also like to read how other people think so this is another reason why I like to start discussions.

wow that's a large target to have... 10 discussions per day! good luck :D
personally i don't always have that much to start a topic about (at least not every day) and so i can sometimes go days without making 1 topic, let alone 10 hehe.
however, i do enjoy responding to other peoples' topics :)

well at the initial stage i was counting it ! but now after being here for so long i never counted it back...their are many or can say i started huge !!
i am here at mylot since 1.5 yrs !!

What a great idea for a topic. I never really thought of looking at it lol.
I never thought that I started that much discussion in 1 year. Seems like I started 185 discussions. I use to started a lot of discussion at the beginning, but lately I have 2-3 new in a month

that's a pretty respectable ammount of topics for only a year :) and i can see from you number that, you like me enjoy posting on other peoples topics more than actually making your own :D

I'm at around 40. I respond to others far more than I start my own.

Hi bobbyjoe!
I have no idea at all! Every time I see something that looks interesting (like now lol) I just get an urge to reply and do so. I start discussions now and then but that also comes very erratically according to the inspiration. I sometimes reply on the same discussion quite a few times by adding lots of comments so I really have no idea at all. But who cares? It's all such fun! Happy posting!

i too reply alot to discussions (you can see that by the numbers near my name) and this is something that i can see at any time.
just now, before making this topic was the first time i had ever thought about haow many topics i had made since being here, so i thought i would look and i was quite suprised by the ammount (nicely suprised though hehe).
