Have any of you seen these yet? We just got them in a few grocery stores here. It's a machine where you can rent DVDs for $1 a night (although, I've seen $1.49, too). They have an awesome selection and are really easy to use. I registered my e-mail address with them the first time we rented a movie and they're always sending me codes for free rentals now.

There have been Redbox's at the McDonald's in my area for at least 1 1/2 -2 years. They are starting to put them inside grocery stores now too. I like that you can rent at 1 Redbox and return it at another.

I love that, too! It works great because the 2 in town (that I've seen so far) are on the opposite ends of town. We live on one side and work on another, so wherever we happen to be we can rent and/or return.

we have machines here two thou a bit more restrictive of how long you can stay with the movie. The free rentals must be so form of publicity to spread the word. Good while it lasts.
