Someone told me that left handed people are more creative. Is that true?

Hi,
May it is something different that is not in majority that may become a style for some people like Amthab Bachan the great actor, also few left hand cricketers and players. Yet I do not know whether they are more creative as I had seen majority of right hand people more creative. Yet we will know it unless both left hander and right hander with equal majority compete for creative productivities.

I can't say they are MORE creative, because I've only met about 5 left handed people in my life (that I know about). I didn't know anything about 2 of them (not even their names) but the other 3 are extremely creative, and can draw exceptionally well. I've known one of them since 2nd grade and even in second grade he was an amazing artist. They all play the guitar and some of them play other instruments. They also write their own music and that takes creativity. For my own mind to be satisfied that they're more creative though, I'd like to see an experiment carried out...maybe...50 people compiled of 25 lefties, and 25 righties and do the ol' survey and require them to take several "tests" like painting, writing a story, drawing etc. anything that requires creativity.

I think that this was just made out of surveys, on which was based from history. There are lots of great leaders, creative-thinkers, inventors and artists that we known to be lefty's. I'm not really sure if this does have some pattern or if it needs a "scientific explanation" to prove it!LoL But this depends on how one uses their brain, being creative means you know how to keep your "cerebral juices" flowing!;)

I'm left handed and I don't believe this is true. I also get a kick out of people who say left handed is secondary to being right handed. We are all equal. It doesn't matter what hand you write with.

yeah I heard that too, but I think it's the instinct that are more creative...some right handed are creative too...
