Now as India has taken unbeatable lead in the India-Pakistan ODI series, we expect that the young players will be getting chance to play and show their talent in the 5th ODI.
I feel that Piyush Chwla is one who must get a chance to play in the team. He is young, talented, he has shown his talent abroad and so he must get a chance right in the next match.
Which players do you think must get chance in the next match....ultimately the seniors have a chance to take rest and allow the younger players to play...let us hope that Indian think tank will consider more young players.

I would love to see Rohit Sharma come into the squad for Saurav Ganguly. Also, Sachin needs to be rested. So a 5th bowler could well be drafted into the sqaud. I hope to see Sehwag and Gambhir open, with Dhoni hopefully coming in at no. 3. I really do believe that Dhoni is a good enough player for the no. 3 position. His record at that slot tells the story. Piyush Chawla would be a nice inclusion as the 5th bowler.
I wont prefer India to make too many changes. I believe since we have the opportunity, we may as well try for a 4-1. That would be an Australian way of approach! Ruthless!

Nothing wrong with the idea of winning 4-1 series score. However, the point is that this is the opportunity for the younger players to show their talent if they are included in the team.
As such we have to look for the younger talent because our seniors are getting older and some day we will have to bring in younger players then why not now....

I feel instead of giving chances to youngser at this juncture, India should continue the same team and win agaisnt Pakistan with bigger margin. It should have been a white wash for pakistan, but in Mohali, the fielding and bowling was not upto mark.
Pakistan which is arch rival should not be taken lightly and India should go full flow.

I agree with you that they should not be taken lightly. However, my point is that we have been discussing that Sachin, Saurav and Dravid should make a place for younger players. So this is the time to search the talent.
It is our experience that we gave chance to younger players in 20=twenty world cup and we got the result and not only that we could find out the vast talent in our younger players. I feel that this is another opportunity for us to find some young talent.

There is one new guy in team , right ? I don't remember his name , but he is new . He is an all rounder . I am hoping that he will get a chance to prove himself .
And i don't think "Piyush" will get a chance . Chance should be given to Mohammed Kaif , he is a great player . But he is still not getting a chance to prove it again . Once a player is out from the team , he is out for ever !!!

I definitely agree with the fact that India has now got the luxury to experiment. The players that should get a look include Rohit Sharma, Badrinath, Piyush Chawla (though he has proved that he belongs at this level) and Pravin Kumar. The selectors will also do Raina a world of good by rewarding him for consistent performances in the domestic scene. We have to look at the 2011 world cup and not for short-term gains. Indian selection has always been myopic and hope they will learn quickly.

I think its a very mature decision taken by the Indian selectors to give a chance to the youngsters. It should have been done much before. But taking these youngsters in the team does not mean that the senior players of the team should be thrown out of team. It is very important for a team to have its senior players in the side to provide better stability to the team.
