Older or younger people?

Same as you, I also am more to hang out with older people about 8 to 20 years older than me. In fact here in the office, my companions in our Controllership Department are mostly several years older than I am, except for our tax accountant who's a couple of years younger. I have experienced being with a crowd of younger women in my previous jobs; and I've felt that I don't want to engage in some of their conversations which I consider nonsense or so trivial. No offense to them because personally, I have made them as friends already; but I just don't participate in some activities which I think won't benefit me, including partying. Maybe because I'm a self-confessed loner and wallflower. Again, thanks for another discussion of mine which you took time to reply to. Hope to be your friend here in mylot soon.

Good for you. I guess you have less insecurities (or none at all) than I do. Anyway, I guess just like me, you've been quite inactive here in mylot. Hope to see more of your discussions & replies soon. Regards.
