Stephen King, and I've read 'almost' everything he's written. I hesitate to say I've read absolutely everything, because he's infamous for his short stories that popup everywhere, but I've read a great deal of them, too .. and would feel comfortable saying I've read nearly everything he's ever written. Even going as far back as his fantasy based book, The Eyes of the Dragon, which was one of my favorites.

I am not a Stephen King fan, but I was in the bookstore today and noticed that he had a new short story in the journal "Glimmer Train," which is a highly respected literary journal, so you are right about his works popping up everywhere.

my favorite author would be Anne Rice. she wrote the books included in the Vampire chronicles like Queen of the Damned, The Vampire lestat, interview with the vampire, pandora, and a lot lot more. plus, she also wrote the Mayfair Witches trilogy which luckily i have read all but it's been a long time, i wanna read them again. ^__^ i have read most of her works but not all because i don't have easy access to it. ^__^

My favorite author is Kobo Abe. I haven't read all his works but so far, they're really good. Unlike other Japanese authors that I have read, I could sit down and read chapter after chapter of his novels.

somebody love to read all books of one great writer.
And I prefer to read great books of many writers, lol.
Though I would pick some others if the auther really impressed me, I have never done that intently.
One famous writer said, If you find the eggs are tasteful, you dont need to know where it produce. lol.
It's a good excuse for me. Due to my poor memory, I can't remember all my favourit writers.

I love a lot of authors. One whose work I have read all of is Jane Austen. I have also read everything by Herman Hesse (except for one book, "Master Luigi and the Glass Bead Game"). I think I have read everything that John Irving wrote, too, and my favorite of his is "Hotel New Hampshire." Finally, I love the work of Amy Tan, but I haven't read all her books, but I am working my way through them. I love to read, and it's hard to focus on just one writer. There are so many great ones. Who do you like?
