Can anyone out there believe how badly addiction is on the rise now adays??

You know,I live in California,and it's unbelievable how many people I see on a day to day basis, high out of thier minds!!Not just high,but tweeking as well. I am a recovering drug addict-alcoholic,(and I'm only recovering by the grace of GOD),and being sober has really given me a whole new perspective on life.I am so thankful for all that I have and all that I've worked so hard to achieve,but I can't help but feel like I can do so much more...There are so many people out there who are struggling to get clean,or to stay clean,and I just would like in some way,shape,or form,to be able to help with that.Maybe I could be the person that anyone would be able to call on when they get that urge,or craving,no matter what time of day,just talk that person through it.I know that would've been something I needed when I first got sober.I don't think I would've fell as many times as I did if I would've had that.Well,if there is anyone out ther that would like to get clean,or is trying to get clean,and just needs a friend,I'm here,just respond. -Roni-
