hello there to U...i'm currently using NOD32...it's so safe, fast, effective, cool, and always updated...for me, it's the best anti-virus ever...have a blessed day ahead of U...may GOD BLESS U & UR family always!!!

i am using an anti-virus called nod32 and its very good and its not even allowing even to open any folder to open if it contains virus some where else and its very cool and now i am free from the fear of virus problem and in additional i am using avg too so that i have given double protection to my system and i prefer nod32 is best.

Are you using both NOD32 and AVG as real-time monitors? You're not supposed to have more than one resident AV monitor at a time. Same with firewalls. I've seen no guideline against multiple antispyware monitors, though.

Kaspersky and NOD32 are consistently rated as the best with the highest detection and removal rates.
McAfee is useless, I'd rather protect my computer with aluminum foil. Norton has a high detection rate, but it's bloated and can slow your computer to a crawl.
If you want a free one I recommend Avast. It's free, easy to use, and includes a boot scanner that can scan your PC before Windows loads. AVG is light on system resources but has a very low detection rate. The free antivirus with the highest detection rate is AntiVir, but I tried it for a while and wasn't impressed.

my favorite anti virus has always been norton antivirus. i'vent tried too many anti-virus softwares, but norton has always given me what i wanted, that is to spot and remove viruses and make the system useable again. AVG is very light but some times it fails to detect ceratian viruses. I'm yet to try NOD32, looks like its good and already have lot of fans. Asfar as adware removal sorfwares are concerned, my favorites are Adaware and Doctorspy.

Macaffee is the best scanner for virus and also it will fastly scan and alerts us to scan the virus and thus it will clear each file form virus.and also the infected file will be declared also the alerts ness is fast....am sure it is good many times i have been saved from virus.

Bitdefender is the best for me! You could try reformatting if there is a lot of virus in your computer

I am using Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0. pretty good i guess
