scholes is another all time great which has been overlooked, he has played so well and so CONSISTANTLY over the past few years not many players are able to do what he has. i hope he wins some sort of award before he retires.

+1 from me... he always brings and good era when he comes in for United... always give's 1000% of his abilities, though sometimes this helps him get sent off :P, and even last year his goal against Barcelona should be one of the memorable one's for the united fans...

His cool ways just make me keep my admiration for him even higher. I note that when Paul scores the ball, he remains calm and always looking for more. He has been dogged by injuries lately but that is one great player for Man.Utd and for England nobody can afford to ignore-am an Arsenal fan, but there are individual players in Man.Utd who make me celebrate even when they put the ball right into Manuel Almunia's net because my liking for them just knows no club divide and Paul is oone such player!

I think Paul Scholes has been one of the cornerstones of United Midfield for the last decade. Often his contributions go unnoticed amongst all the superstars and bigger personalities surrounding him, but the midfielder has had one proud career to say the least. Happy B'day Scholes!! Cheers! Ram

Unfortunately, Paul Scholes got injured in this week's Champions League and the injury is being termed as career threatening. At the very least he is supposed to be out for 10 weeks. Cheers! Ram
