Which author do you like best? Why?

Hi,everybody! Do you have a favourite author? What masterpieces of his/hers do you like best? Why? Is it the words that attract you or the style or sth else?

I have always been a big Steven King fan. There was a time...when my eyesite was better when I wouldn't read anything but his books. Since I'm such a horror fan there probably isn't a book of his I haven't read or a movie I haven't seen.

I like Janet Evanovich. She combines mystery with humor and suspense. I like to laugh once in a while when I am reading a book.

Tom Robbins becoz i think he is genuis in his work,it is unlike anything else i have ever read,it is always startalating and bazzar. Morgan llywelyn her books are always spellbound and gripping and she is one of the best authors for irish lore she tells such detailed stories with characters that come to life... n Sir Arthur Conan doyle his collection of Sherlock Holmes ...truly amazing...........
