If i were in a hurry, I would do two things:
1. Wash my mouth and rinse my teeth with soap
2. Grab something to eat (plain bread or something)
3. If i could grab a cup of coffee, that'd be great
Nice post..

Well if theres no toothpaste I use mouthwash and brush with that. And I make a point to get to the store that day. If I didnt have toothpaste or mouthwash I would use hot water and brush.

I usually don't run out of toothpaste...because I always have one in stock and the moment I pick it up to use, I restock again.
lol...a housewife learns how to keep a well-stocked house:)
The main reason why I do that is because my husband usually picks up a new tube even when the one we are using is not done....then I give him the half used ones when he is travelling.

This is funny because it has never happened to me so far because I always buy toothpaste when I'm almost finish.

I always keep some Orbit Brush-Aways in my bag - they're like these little blue things you put on your finger, and brush your teeth with, to quickly get rid of plaque, they're not as good as actually brushing your teeth (obviously!), but they're pretty good, and like 99p each. The only problem is that they tend to burn your lips a little - but, having said that, as long as you don't use them too much, you should be okay.

Mostly i have backup tooth paste. Must be weird to hear but i do got it. What i mostly do is buy couple of them. So it never bugs me if i run out of tooth paste.

hi,
i either use the liquid mouth cleaner or else lime and salt as a replacee of tooth paste, or dant manjan (red colour)..generally salt is always available at home and at times even dant manjan is there so these are generally used when i donot have a tooth paste.

Well I brush my teeth without toothpaste and then use mouthwash. If I have no mouth wash I will use a mint and or gum. At home I never run out of toothpaste because my mom buys it and she's pretty on top of it. Sometimes when I'm traveling I will loose it. Generally I am with someone else so I will just borrow their toothpaste.

This has never occurred to me yet. If it would then I think I would do without the tooth paste.
Bala, how about trying it today (without the hangover of running out of the white gel? I will and let you know.
a big toothpasty smile...

I just brush without it, or even with a dab of mild soap or something. We have baby soap, so that would work for me.
I need to get a mini toothbrush and toothpaste to keep in my purse or something, or those brush-ups things, so I can brush my teeth after lunch at work. I keep catching myself eating things I shouldn't and then worrying about blasting my customers with bad breath.

I haven't realy had experienced running out of toothpaste but just in case so, i will use the other toothpaste that's in my bag which is supposedly for use whenever i eat out. Or if really in a hurry maybe i'll just gargle with a mouthwash.

I would brush with just water, then use mouthwash. Brushing without toothpaste doesn't do much, but it would make me feel better at least.
