When you have reason to celebrate..what do you do?

When you have received good news ..say you received a promotion..got that job you wanted or that long awaited raise you begged for .. How do you celebrate positive results..
Do you pull out a bottle of wine..and have some cheese...LOL or do you have a big dinner and invite friends neighbors and coworkers over..
What is your manner of celebration?

I would be straight on the phone to my friends, either texting them or having a good conversation cos I know they would love to hear my news. Then I would break open a bottle of my favourite plonk Asti Spumante and sit back and revel in my success. I would treat myself and spoil the closest to me. The last time I had cause to celebrate was when I got my NVQ3 and I took my friends out for a slap up meal in my favourite chinese restaurant.

Sounds really nice.. what is a NVQ3..lol. I think I would be on the phone and shooting emails ..if I had such a reason to celebrate..I love to find a reason for celebrating..so am always watching for a cause.

little, there is a cause to celebrate every day. Just the fact that we woke up this morning is a cause to celebrate! Do a search for earthcalendar on the web. There is a really neat site that has a calendar with a holiday for every day. For example, the first week of November was National Fig Week. You could do all sorts of fun celebrating for that day. Also, Hallmark has all sorts of silly holidays- like best friend day. I love themes that I can celebrate with. That makes it fun to try to come up with something unique.
