Visit To The Vet....

I had to take my cat to the Vet yesterday. He has kidney stones, and they tell us there is nothing that can be done for cats. No medicines, no surgery etc.Every so often he does to the vet to get his blood work/MRI done. Anyway, while I was waiting for the appointment a lady walked in with her cat wrapped in small blanket. I could see the tears in that lady's eyes. She was there to get her cat put to sleep Since the cat was old and had some kind of terminal disease. I could feel/see that the lady was having hard time even talking about it ti the receptionist. Even I was choking up with years. After I came back from the appointment. I kept thinking that I should have said somthing to that lady to comfort her. It has been haunting me since yesterday.

On going through your discussion - Visit to the vet, I gained knowledge that stone may be formed in kidney of male cat, and by operation it can be removed from a reply on the subject. If we love Pet animals, their response is great.I have seen an little elephant was keeping her face with his guard and she expressed her affection in an impressive way.I pray God for both the cats under discussion for early normal health.

I have a cat called Max, he is a Siamese Chocolate point crossed with a tabby, which basically means he is gray with huge ears, gorgeous blue eyes, a slender body and face and stripey markings. I have never seen another cat like him, to be honest, and I adore him with every inch of my heart! To me, he is like a child, he gets spoilt rotten! If I ever found out that he was poorly and there was nothing I could do to make him betetr, I would be absolutely heart-broken! Esepcially, if I had to put him down. I don't know if I could ever live with myself. To be honest, I don't think I could have said anything to that lady. The thought of her having to put down a creature she obviously loved a lot, would have made me break down! What would you have said? Whatever you mentioned would have just upset her more, and she probably just wanted to be left alone with her own grief! I don't think you should beat yourself up about it! You were thinking of her when it mattered, so you should feel good that you were concerned enough to get upset, some people wouldn't even have done that! I hope your cat will be OK, and let's hope that lady is too! Big hugs for her!
