how do you thank your mom for being there for you your whole life if shes 6000km away from you??? i lived ma whole life with m mom n my sister only in portugal and she did so much for us she worked so hard and at the age of 15 i decided to come to canada and live with ma dad that didnt really do much for me till then.... evenif she told me it was my decisison and even if me coming would help her financially, how do you think she felt, not helping the fact that i havnt seen bher in 3 years, how do i thank her for doing all that for me if im so far and all i can do is call... gimme ideas of how i can thak my mom for being there even wen im not there...

I guess keeping in touch is about all you can do and is probably all she really wants, other than keep sending her photos, ringing her, and most of all tell her how you feel, tell her how grateful you are to her and how very much you love her, maybe as a small gesture send her something personal she can have of you maybe a locket with your photo in it it or something, just let her know how you feel...

when I read this topic, I do not know what to say. Beacuse my parents, mean so much to me. They do everything to make or keep me happy. But I, only to find, let them down again and again. Recently, I've plan to earn money.Maybe this not a good choice,but I believe, after I've proofed mayself a independent teenager, my they will feel a strong self-fullfilment.And that is what i want all my life! I must make them happy and pride of me!
