I just made myself my a cup of hot chocolate for the first time this year. And of course it had whipped cream on it. Dont be riduculous how could I even consider drinking it without whipped cream? It hit the spot after coming in from the cold. So when did you have a cup of hot chocolate?

It is 70 degrees outside here today not really hot chocolate weather but next week we are in for a major cool down and a cup of hot chocolate would probaly sound great. I put marshamallows on top of my hot chocolate but whipped cread sounds really good too.

I had my first hot chocolate of the year today! It was a little windy and then got pretty chilly after the sun said goodnight! I ALWAYS have to have a TON of marshmallows whenever I have hot chocolate. Have never tried it with whipped cream. Will have to give it a whirl sometime.

Yum. Nothing is better than a cup of hot chocolate. I am not a coffee drinker, so hot chocolate is my hot beverage of choice. It has to have whipped cream on it. I have also added a dollop of marshmallow cream, if I don't have whipped cream. Either way, it's a great way to start off a cold, winter morning!

I haven't yet but it's on my shopping list. I don't put whipped ream on mine but I have to have mini marshmallows! I think I'd better make sure I get 2 packages...
I actually have a really good recipe for the hot chocolate mix. It's a lot cheaper than store bought. You'll spend more for the ingredients the first time but it makes a lot more mix than you could buy in a store for that price. It's also nice because part of the mix is evaporated milk so you can use hot wter instead of milk and still get a rich milky taste (of course hot milk just makes it richer) and the way milk pries have been that can save a lot of money. I'll have to dig it out sometime and share it somehow.

I might actually have some hot chocolate later after my dinner which I haven't had yet. But I always like my hot chocolate with a ton of marshmallows. What is the deal with the whipped cream..are you a **gasps** whipped cream addict. You might have to consider owning up and attend Whipped Cream Anonymous...LOL

I haven't had a cup since last winter. I really have to be in the mood for hot chocolate. I usually have some with marshmallows cause they are super good. I like whipped cream too but I don't usually have it around the house.
My co-workers get a hot chocolate practically every morning. I think it's crazy. Especially cause they'll go get a hot chocolate regardless of whether it's 20 degrees or 90 degrees outside.

To chase away that nip in the air, try warming your insides with this hot, chocolaty treat. Although the terms are often used interchangeably, note that there is a difference between hot cocoa and hot chocolate: Hot cocoa is typically just water or milk and cocoa powder, while, made from chocolate bars melted into cream, hot chocolate is a rich and decadent drink.

Hello Terry
It sounds like you had a satisfactory cup of hot chocolate!
I had a cup of hot chocolate when I was in fifth grade. It was very cold, and I was working outside, and some hot chocolate was offered to me and I accepted. It was very good.
I had my second cup of hot chocolate about four, maybe five years ago, on Christmas Eve. It was bitterly cold and my family and I were outside for our annual bonfire. My whole family loves hot chocolate and drinks it all the time, and it was just so cold that I had some, too.
Those are the two times I have had hot chocolate, Terry.

I actually just had some today. Its cold and snowing. I also like whipped cream on mine. Do you make yours with milk or water? I make it with milk and add an extra package of hot chocolate. Makes it much creamier! Yummy!!

Hi Terry,
I made myself a cup on Wednesday when I came home from doing my Thanksgiving shopping list. It was pretty cold and I wanted something hot, but not coffee. I use Nestle quick powder and some warm milk. I had forgotten the marshmellows so I had to drink it without, it wasnt as good as it could have been. lol I like the marshmellow fluff or creme. It sure did hit the spot, something warm and something sweet. Mmmmm :)
