Who Believe in Online Dating And Why?

While I'm sitting here brooding over my fraternal twin sister and her boyfriend-now fiance, it's leaving me sitting here wondering if I'm doing something wrong.
My sister and I are completely opposite. She always snag the good guys and I always snag the nut cases.
Even though I deal with nut cases IRL I wonder if I should switch to the online motif. But then again the people online could be more worse than the people in the real world... So I wonder, does anybody believe in online dating? If you do, why?

I'll admit, it may work for some and it may not work for others.
I guess I'm just old fashioned.
People in my age range or older react differently when they hear someone falling in love with another person by meeting online.
After giving out my nickname to that one guy back in the day I stopped giving out info period.
It seems like when guys meet a female off the net, they immediately want to meet and start a relationship. That, to me, is truly irritating.
