Ten years to earm ten dollars!

It has taken me nine months, roughly a year to earn one dollar from MyLot. This means that at this rate, it will take me ten years to earn ten dollars, the minimum amount of money I set before I can get paid. But then the problem is partly mine-I spend days, and some time even spent a month and a half without visiting MyLot, which might have affected my earning. But hey, am doing if for the fun, for the thrill of seeing four digits after my name. Wonder what is the highest amount you have made here?

Hmm, it's too bad you weren't more ative during yor nine months here. You'll probably want to kick yourself when I tell you how much I've made in my 9 months here. Ok, ready? I'm going to tell you so don't look unless you really want to know.... I've made almost $100.00. I don't think I have tons of free time either but enough I guess!

The amount myLot pays has drastically gone down over the time I have been here, but it still pays better than any other forum I have found. I would stick it out if I were you. I post for the fun, the extra money has been nice, and what I have learned about online earning has really been priceless. I like it here. I do not make payout every month anymore, but I have had as high as $40.00 in my payout.

Quality is the key here. Posts of about 40+ 'on topic' words will earn a cent. One liners earn nothing. Now this discussion of yours is now paying you as it is over 2 pages (20 posts) long so you will be getting maybe 2c or 4c per page from other peoples posts. Once you hit 500 posts you get a cent for every 'on topic' picture you upload with your post so that equals 2c a time. Now get 1,200 referrals like me and you earn a little bit from each post they make. How I wish they were all active. haha. MyLot is a bit unusual on the net because they really do pay - on the dot - and without having to beg for it!! So a trickle turns into a stream and then into a river - that's the internet; the numbers game. Good luck.

Haha - let's just say that it is more than the $10 minimum per month!

It is good to hear that you are here for fun. most of the people here are for making money and usually reach payouts monthly. i have not reached my payout but I try to come online whenever I get time. I too like to see the stars near my name and the numbers. I enjoy when I participate in discussions and moreover I get paid for the time spend here. It is such a wonderful way of utilizing your time and earn some money too.

I had set my payout to ten dollars but have now extended it to 100 dollars-to put it as far as possible. The money paid here is not that much, so I expect to take an awful lot of time to reach that target, but I think I will have earned it. Fantastic site.

I agree with you that it takes considerable time to accumlate earnings over here. Yet, we all come here to enjoy and learn something. Sometimes, earnings become secondary.

The solution to that is very easy my friend. All yo need to do is pend more time to start discussions or leave comments at others and I am sure you already know that by now. LOL! There are members here who can reach payout on monthly basis and it is all up to us to do it or not do it.

Yeah, in just the past three days I have seen the power of replying to other discussions. I rarely start discussions myself very few people reply to them.

Thanks for that-I was actually suprised you had done that sine I had given up on ever getting responses on those topics. Newsbiscuit.com still operates, I have been there today.

If you want to make money, you have to earn it. They don't just give it away. Start being more active, respond to discussions, make some friends, and it will increase. If you don't care about the money, then no sweat, just come to chat when you feel like it. We will be here.

The nice thing about MyLot is that it does really pay, it also rolls over your earnings, you do not lose them if you miss payout one month. Try it a little more dedicatedly and you will find out.

Nice formular, nice and logical. But one hundred posts a day, I do not know if I can manage that. I will concetrate on the referrals.

Sorry Raymo, but 114 posts in 9 months is why you aren't getting much money on MyLot I'm afraid. I have already gotten paid 50 and I am close to 50 again and I too have been here for 9 months. I don't have a whole lot of free time either as I am a stay at home mom. Even if you just came here for say 30 minutes a day posting you'd notice a big difference in your earnings! PurpleTeddyBear.

I think for payment it was slightly over $10 but that's about it. My reason is because I wasn't sure what to post about half the time and figure out what to talk about. Plus also, for sometime I was inactive due to trying to get some web design up if possible. I think I'll get it by the end of this month but that's gonna be up to me on that. I'll just have to be active a lot just to reach a high level of amount made. It takes time and patience that's all.

Actually most of my one dollar has come in the last two days, so I think it helps to be active and consistent.

If you are thinking to use mylot or even other online earning program to earn your living...you better think twice... Online earning will never beat a full-time job...but it will help to provide you with extra income

at least you know where lies the problem. it is the fun and thrill of both connecting with people here and seeing the digits rise a bit daily. there is no substitute for giving time here and participating in the discussions. in that way, you can have both things- fun and earnings. Does it sound fair and encouraging? i think i do.

Hey,that is what I was thinking this morning. How long it will take me to earn $10.00. I am very new to this. But it is fun to read what all people have to say about different things. Sometimes you learn about new things, and also get to have fun. That is what it is all about.

I just started yesterday and I made .60 if I make that much every day in 30 days I would have $18 I have my account set to $10 so I would make payout by the end of every month at this rate and n 9 months would have around $100. I see you only have 109 posts in nine months that is most likely why you have not made that much I have 120 posts so far in two days.

I've earned about $65 on MyLot since I signed up over a year ago. And I barely posted this year. I hadn't really been on this site since July. I had a little over $8 when signed in last week. I've earned over $2 since then and I've only made a few posts.

We have the same situation, but I think I'm already a member for almost two years and I haven't got my first payment yet. So, I'm just enjoying posting here at least there are some times that I learn something from other mylotters. And if you would think about the amount that you are going to earn, well you wouldn't be enjoying mylot.

I guess you don't spend much time in mylot. I have only been a member for a couple days and I have posted quite a few responses and started quite a few discussions, today. I don't know yet how much I have earned. But my guess would be that I've earned at least 25 cents. I hope. I have read topics where people make the payout amount in their first month. I guess they spend a lot of time here. I am going to try it for a month and see if I can reach payout.
