blood diamond

i saw the movie blood diamond the other day, it make me kinda upset and sad at the same time, i cnat believe what happend in the world today, people kill one another for the so call diamond stone, and turn one against another, kids into killing machine. it is a horrible place to be. anyone ever watched that movie?

yes it is a horrible reality. I have a certificate with my diamond that says it is not a blood diamond. and not a conflict diamond either.
I have not watched the movie because i think it will be too depressing. movies set in africa about the civil wars and guerilla fighting usually depresses me.

I have watched the movie. I found it very interesting and sad at the same time. It's unfortunate that this happens in the world, and that some places have so much turmoil and violence to satisfy human greed and consumerism.
I think this was a good movie though, because it opened up peoples' eyes to what happens in the world. I think it raised a lot of awareness, and a lot of diamond consumers are paying more attention to where their diamonds are coming from.
