Would you stop and help in a road accident?

I felt bad when I saw on TV, lots of motorists who just passed by a road accident victim. Apparently, the victim was hit by a car when he was crossing the street. The video was shot, I presume, on a helicopter because of the view. The authorities told us not to move the victims of such accidents because the injuries might get more complicated but at least someone should have stopped to call 911 or assess and help in the situation.

Yes. I would definatly stop. I am a trained EMT {emergancy medical technician} I can preform CPR, stabalize wonds and the patient. I would make sure someone called 911. I hate when people dont stop to help. What if that was your mother or sister or husband or child? Wouldnt you want someone to stop and help you? I know I would. My husband had a bad crash last july. He was driving to work from home and hit a telephone pole head on. I got a call from his cell and it was a lady. At first I was confused. She said she had my husband there and he was in an accident. Sh said he was ok though. She had called 911 and me next. I passed the van before I got to the hostpital. It was BAD! He hit the pole so hard it turned the van around the opposite way in the other lane!! The whole friont end was smashed, everything inside was everywhere, it caught on fire. NOT GOOD! So I expected the worst when I got to the hostpital. Thank god he was ok, no blood, no broken bones, no internal bleeding. He had an angel watching over him that day. He went home a few hours later very sore and on pain meds. Im, so glad that lady stoped to help my husband! Thanx Mystery Lady!!

It's nice to hear that nothing happened to your husband, the lady should be his guardian angel. We need more people like her. Thanks for the response and have a nice day.
