I would prefer fish over meat. Maybe because it is what mother served most of the time when we were young then. We have the chance to eat meat maybe thrice a week only or in the events of special celebrations. I like it too because it's much healthier and much cheaper as compared with meat. My most favorite fish dish is grilled boneless milkfish.

That is true, never-the-less, I was thinking very local here! Usually I think both local and globally-see, am from Uganda, a land locked country-most of our fish come from fresh water sources and luckily, these water sources, rivers, and lakes are not yet that polluted although the problem is beginning to rare its ugly head. most importantly, most Ugandans lately have taken to fish farmimg and those are completely free from pollution of any kind!

Red meat has more fat than the white meat, at times. That fat can kill a person.

i prefer fish.... easy to digest... less cholesterol... here in the Phils., an average family income would only afford for fish and vegetables for daily meal and perhaps meat in once or twice a week :-)

I really love meat, but lately I had to do with more fish on my meal--the reason: I am diabetic, had high bad cholesterol and triglyceride...so my doctor advised me to eat more fish and very little of meat...so I had no choice but learn to love to eat fish. So these days, I always look for fish preparation, whether at home or in parties, or at restaurants. It could be awful having to prefer fish during parties, which is not common....
