Money being the root of all evil. Not the love of money, money in & of itself.

If one person or group of persons has more money than what they need and other people or groups of people are basically without the money they need, isn't there an evil tinge to that reality?
I don't say just hand over your hard earned money to just anyone. Pick and choose those who need a hand learning how to do what you did to arrive at where you are.
Possibly giving scholorships to needy families who would love to send their kids to college as you did yours.
They would have to earn the scholorships and keep up the marks in school to keep the scholorships. Also have them have part time jobs while in college and you match what they earn. This make attending college more pleasant in that they can buy the books they need, eat well and even board at the college of their choice.
I truly believe we have an obligation to share our excess wealth and not become more & more excessive in our toys, pleasures and status. I've found that the larger the Conscious Ego we have, the larger the Unconscious Pain from which we're running. The Conscious Ego is the Lid on the Unconscious Pain we all have.
What do you think of sharing our wealth or better still, the way we got it? Is money the root of evil from your perspective? Or not?
