And network, network, network - join twitter, myspace, facebook, and other networking sites. The more people you meet the more people that will know about your website. In addition to working a full time job I am spending at the very least an hour a day on promotion and networking. Remember, promoting your site is an active process - you can not be passive and expect to be successfull.
