How to place an international call...

OK, I've never had to do this before, but I now have people in other countries wanting information about my business opportunity. The thing is, I can't seem to get the calls to go through... I went to Verizon's website and looked up International calling and this is what it says: Dail 011 then the Country Code then the City Code then the number. I found the country code and thought I was ok with the rest of the info that the person gave me, but I'm wondering if I missed something. All I get is a busy signal - of course, the person could be on the phone, but I've been trying at different times. I have sent the person an e-mail, so hopefully they can help me get it worked out, but if anyone has some insight, I'd gladly listen!!!

The information you got was correct. If you wanted to call ex. Norway you would call 011 47 then the number.

Well, this was the UK and I dialed 011 44 then the number, but the number the person gave me started with a 077. I tried it with the 0 and without. I get a busy signal each way. I guess she's just on the phone or has dial-up internet connection.... Thanks for responding!!!
