well before i got pregnant i had a great memory. i could remeber just about anyything at any moment. Now my mind is all boggled and i tend to write myself i to do list or reminder note... but then it was so funny horrible i always "forgot" to look at the list so ...LOL.. i write myself a reminder note to read my to do list and then i tape it up where ever i know i am going to be the most that day... i have sticky notes all over my computer to look on the fridge to remind myself to set the coffee pot to remind myself we need filters etc etc.. lol its so silly!

Post It's!!! On the garage door so I see it as i go out. On the fridge door so I remember - on the bathroom mirror, even on my car dashboard! And that is also on my TO DO list too! I just don't see the to do lists so I forget to do!

My mind used to be great until I had a baby. Now most of the time I have mommy brain. LOL So I write a "to do" list all the time. My husband laughs at me but that's how I remember to get everything done that needs to be done. Sometimes I think he needs to make him a "to do" list too instead of laughing at me about it because he forgets stuff too.

It is a good habit to write a “to do list” than tying a ribbon around your finger. Preparing a “to do list” and working on that is routine of a literal person. While tying the ribbon is the work of an illiterate or un educated person. Good memory is not enough to complete the task. The organized people use a diary or work according to their schedule or time table and writing a to do list is a part of organizer, which help the people to keep them on working track.

I remember stuff pretty good. Like everyday chores and things I remember. If I need to do something that I normally don't do everyday I will make a list just in case. Doctor appointments and places I need to go or take the boys, I will take and write down on a little calendar in my purse and also on a big calendar hanging on the wall. It's hard to remember all the doctor appointments and times of them all.

Hi Megumiart,
Nice discussion. Yes I am lossing my memory very much now a days. I just think of something and next moment I forget about it....in the beginning I thought it was just that I was making some mistakes, but no .....now I am doing it more often. You know I open the fridge door and stand their looking at things inside blankly as I don't remember why the hell did I opened the fridge.......some times I have to go back to my place to remember why I had gone to some other room and only when I sit at my place I remember it ..... there are so many such cases.....so finally I decided to immediately make a note of things that I have to do and this has helped me a lot. No I don't have good memory anymore..........actually this is becoming a serious problem today though we take it so lightly. I have started to take omega 3, lets hope it may help.......Have a nice day..........

Whenever I have to remind myself of something I save my reminders in my cellphone and set the alarm. That way I wont forget what I am suppose to do.
