I prefer to soak in a hot tub with bubbles. I find it to be very relaxing and comforting. The longest I have hung out in the tub was three hours. I fell asleep. LOL

as I hate to shower they are not long soap up rinse and get out most of the time.
and now I have to do it for I cant get in the tub to saok. For I cant pull myself outtill my wounds and muscles get back in to shape.
also my hot water would last any 2 hours.
The only thing I do like about the shower is we have a very good shower head and it has a hard fouce to it I can stand in there for al ong time letting it beat on my back and let the tention drain away!

yes, you have to be careful with your wounds.
Are you doing better now?

My record is 15 minutes. Generally, it takes me just 10 minutes to shower and about half an hour to take a bath.

There was this morning when it was really freezing. I went into the shower to get ready to gout and I just stayed there and just let the hot water flow and flow and flow. I don't know how I was in there for but I know when I got out I was running late. I think staying so long in the shower and letting the hot water flow wastes energy and should not be good for the environment.

I can save environment other way. I have tankless water heater, so I am saving a lot of energy this way.
I installed it last year and it reduced my bills for at least 40%....
As far as water, my neighbor is watering his grass all summer; I don't, so my saving is substantial...

It was because i was really sick and it just felt so good to have the running water on my body that i didnt want to get out. I had my dad yelling at me to make sure i was all right. That is the only reason i got out.

i am not sure but it's more than 30 minutes but less than one hour. it's really relaxing to have a hot shower for many minutes. i haven't tried showering for 2 hours. after more than 30 minutes, i usually get tired already and bored in the shower. so, i stop and dry myself off.
but when having a hot bath, i can stay on the tub for more than an hour.

I think I lasted half an hr once, it was winter time and warmest shower I've ever had. If I don't care about hydro bill I will do it every day :) but well in summer and spring it's really not necessary, in winter though I need it now and then

I love shower but i won't stay that long in a shower, i spent around 30 minutes in a shower. I have a friend of mine who is also called as water duck, she takes showers more than an hour and its hell to wait for her to finish her shower or doing her make ups. I have heard of spa therapy but i have never tried it, i heard its really releaving and sensual. Anyway good luck to you here in mylot.

Hello polachicago. I have never had that long-time shower like you had. I think that it is at most twenty muintes long for a shower. I am sure that you must have enjoyed yourself very much for the two-hour-long shower. But please remember, my dear friend, if the shower is too long, it is not good enough to our skin, especially when it is cold in winter. Thanks for your discussion, my dear friend.

I don't take long showers everyday. My skin is soft and not dry at all...:)

Hi polachicago! Two hours? Wow, that is very refreshing and I am sure that it is relaxing somehow too because i have read it once that the showering is like having a massage. And thanks for posting the meaning of SPA, I never knew it until now. haha.. As for me the longest one I have was and hour and a half. That made me feel so clean and refreshed. I felt so good afterwards. Actually, it is really that long I have my showers. If I am in a hurry, it is only an hour. LOL! Take care and have a nice day. :)

I have never actually paid attention to how long a shower I've taken. Some showers I'm sure have been 30 minutes to maybe an hour. I am like you and love the hot shower spa therapy thing. However I'm pretty sure I have never had a shower for 2 hours. I don't think my hot water tank would hold out.
