I am now ready to listen to my Christmas Music. It is a week before Thanksgiving and I think it is high time to break out my collection of Cd's and listen to some uplifting music. Christmas music always lifts my spirits. Are you ready for a little Christmas....Music?

I don't start playing Christmas Music until December. We have some nice CDS.
My daughter was practising some christmas songs on the piano a few weeks ago. She knows four songs. She really wants the piano music to Silent Night (level 2 or 3) There is no music store near us, so I am going to search the net.

How long does it take her to learn a new song? My daughter plays the piano, not professionally, but well enough. I am hoping that she will be able to play for our Christmas gathering on the 9th. I love to sing carols.

After finding myself singing to the music that was playing in the stores, my first reaction was that it was too soon. But, when I sang a few tunes I realized what a joy it was.

I'm with you. With my son on the verge of heading to Iraq maybe a little Christmas music is what I need to get me in the mood. I have always been such a big Christmas person but as life happens I have had some really sad ones to. I am going to try the music and see if it will pick up my spirits a little. Happy Thanksgiving and a very merry Christmas.

Singing in a church choir, I get a chance to get started early with practicing for presentations in early December. My favorite cd's are also Christmas. I have one that is played on tools, it is a hoot, and is also very musical.

I listen to my Christmas music all year round. LOL I love Christmas music. I have found that it helps to remember the things that I have in my life to be greatful for. I have a wonderful family, I have the gospel, a roof over my head and food on my table. I have a husband who is my best friend and I love him very much. What more could a person want..... except Christmas music to remind me of why I have these blessings in my life. :)

For sure, I could listen to Christmas music almost year around and actually have some christmas songs in my playlists 'Chipmunks roasting on an open fire' is always good for a snicker no matter what the season.
But yes, I love the Christmas music, one of the local radio stations started their 24 hour a day Christmas music yesterday.

Almost ready...seeing that it's practically around the corner, but I usually wait until it hits December before I bring out my collection of Christmas music and start listening to it...and even then only in moderation. Too much of it and I start to grow tired of it quickly.

I love Christmas music. But my rule is not to do anything "Christmas" until the day after Thanksgiving. That's when we put up our tree, start shopping and turn on the Christmas music. I love Christmas, but I also love Thanksgiving and don't want to overshadow it by starting the Christmas season too early.

Don't feel bad because my husband is the same way, he's always into the holiday spriits alittle too early too! But christmas music always sounds so calming and relaxing and they make me happy in some kind of funny way. I love the christmas trees and holiday lights that are around every year. My children gets really excited for the gifts!
