Do you add tags when you reply to the responses to your discussions too?

The more tags you have, the more times the discussion will come up with related discussions. But I don't bother. I figure the main ones are already chosen, so I never add more.

Yes I add tags only if there are less then six or seven tags there, because I have noticed that if there are already few tags , then our tag does not exist. so sometimes I skip it and submit my reply. When I start a discussion, obviously I add a tag as it is the first tag....About how useful it is .....I really don't know...............cheers.

I only tag the discussions which I start. Otherwise I do not do it, I used to though. The concept of tagging, if utilised properly, is undoubtedly a very useful one. However, the way we use it, putting in anything and everything, which includes even some weird numbers, I don't think the concept is interpreted in the right sense of the term. On the contrary the search gets wild and wide and off relevancy.

I came here all by myself for once! YAY! *giggles* I find that adding tags doesn't seem to make a difference. I know that by the guidelines we are supposed to, and so if I remember I do it, but I haven't noticed any difference in how many replies I get or anything. And I really rarely use the tags in any way myself. I have found that if I add tags myself I am less likely to have the next person who comes along leave a bunch of rude ones. So I try to remember to add tags because of that.

Yes, I do add tags, while responding to a discussions. YOu see it is very useful..you are require to add atleast 3-5 tags to every discussion, then when you again come back to that discussion, you are not asked again to fill up tags, once you have done with appropriate tags. I find it also improves our thinking power, how can think of useful but catchy tags to a discussion.

I always try to put tags on discussions, espeically if there are none or if the number tagger has been at it again. Some person goes around myLot and puts all numbers in tags. They help other users find discussions more easily and it helps organize myLot.

Yes i always put four tags, I don't know how they help I was just told they do, I look at it that they must be there for a reason and somewhere along the line it may help Mylot maybe to bring in the money to pay us I don't know for sure i think the system is too complex for me so i just go with the flow...

I usually don't do it when I reply to the responses. I'm not really sure what the use is. Maybe you can add tags that you didn't really think of when you first posted the discussion. The tags help i finding the discussion during a search (atleast that's what I think).

No, not now, when I first started here I used...I have just become lazy..But they are helpful when you are searching for a discussion..

hi balasri,i put tags to discussions which i started as with which only over discussion will be shown to mylotters.i will select a tag depending on my discussion.i select them such that they will give some idea about my discussion.but when iam replying for others discussion i will skip the tags.i dont know how they are useful to me in earning money but it helpful our discussions to reach more mylotters.

Hi & Hello my friend Balasri. I only apply tagging when I post discussion and so far never tagging when I respond to any discussion. In answering to your question, I did not add tags when I commented to the responses, and on responding to others discussion. Tagging allows for a way to categorize and search discussions and messages in myLot for easy navigation. HAPPY DAPPY.

I always do add tags. I hope that it helps but I'm not sure. I like to add tags, mark best answers and write as much as possible. I figure the more I"m involved I'll get more.

I must say that I rarely tag my responses. I mean I find it difficult sometimes to think of tags when I start a discussion and anyway there are tags on the discussion already so why would adding tags to responses make any difference?

First i see what kind tags already put on discussion that i response. If there are already to many tags, i just skip doing tag ^_^. Useful or not, i think useful. Better then not having tags at all.

hi bala, yeh i like to add tags to the discussions i reply but at times i find it boring so i hit a skip button. At times i add tags to the discussions even when i have already added while responding and again i add whil commenting on the same discussion. I generally add 3-4 tags to a discussion started by me.

I add tags when I think there's a need~ sometimes I just do not know what tag I should put.. but I think adding tags is to let people search the article easily.. So, I just add..XD

ya i do. i always tag all my discussions because it will be easy to search and find later.
