Try to focus your attention on making some friends, having interesting discussions, and you will probably be more satisfied. Yes, you get paid, but don't expect a steady paycheck. You may not always get paid at the same rate. Higher quality, well thought out discussions and responses will earn you more per post than quick, one-liners.

Your calculations are more or less accurate. That is why mylot cannot be a primary source of income for anyone. It is better if you like to have discussions as a hobby and then you earn a little for your views. Cheers! Ram

Hi, I think i had about 800 responses when I reach my frist payout. It doesn't depend only how many dsicussion you respond , but also how long your response is and also the quality. also you can add pictures to your discussion adn once you will have over 500 posts , you can add image to other people discussion too. so keep posting and starting new discussions. also there are new discussions every day, so keep looking.

hi furion! im also new here. my friend invited me last nigth ans she said we can earn here. so i tried this maybe. maybe i will have my luck in here. as of now i dont have any earning yet and i dont know how will we earn in here. will we earn through our replies to discussions only? or do we need to also start a discussion?

It depends on the length of your replies I have a little over 500 posts and I only need $0.41 to get the $10 payout for next month. Just post longer replies hun. Hugs

Hello fuion. I say war welcome to you. The day when we had taken start was a few month ago. We and many like me were new here when they took start here. You will gradually become old. Experienced and you will enjoy the site very well like us. You should try to post impressive response. Not in single line or one or two sentences. Be descriptive. Write with a bit detail. You will find a positive result. You will be crowned with star just after completing 100 post and you will be facilitated to copy and paste after 500 posts. Earning is some thing of secondary value. Mylot is nice if you like posting. You will not make much money at all. I was excited to see 50 cents in my earnings at first, but I am at 4.56 and have been on here posting for 8 months......Lol, so there is not much money in it.

Earning here at mylot should not only the driving force but to learn from others' views as well. Because earning here will take you a lot of time and patience. But if you will consider the facts you will get from others' posts, then it will be more rewarding.

welcome to mylot furion.i had been with mylot for a week .i have crossed 250 posts however my earnings have just crossed $2 yesterday.your computation is 100% correct.ieven i think i need to cross the figure of 1000 if i want ot get my $10 this month.but since we donont know hoe mylot is comupting our earnings it very hard to tell anything.might be you can earn your $10 before making 1140.all the best to you.

your computations are little bit conservative :-) $0.28 for 35 post is just a minimal computation considering its all posting here and there, try having plenty of active referrals under you.. then your rate per post is somewhat doubled to tripled... i tried it... you get a lot of earnings when you have a lot of referrals or when you post an interesting discussion because every time they reply, i think you earn... happy posting

If you are here just to make money then you need to stop doing this because your not going to make a lot of money doing it.

Hey Furion! I am new here to and wish to make friends. It is hard to make friends here. I only have one friend on my list so far. I am a stay at home mom and it's hard for me to hang out with my friends and they too have their lives to lead. We only get together once in a very blue moon. So I join this forum to stay in touch with the world. I can come in at my own time and chit chat with new people, hopefully new friends from around the world. What other avenues can you take to get to do this right. It's fun not all about the money but hey it sure is great to have it. Hope we can all be friends and make money too hehe.

The way they pay you is different and it all depends on how you respond and to what type of discussions you are responding to. All they look for is quality here and also respond to good discussions as some useless topics gets deleted and you are not paid for it. Like you said money is not the big issue here, i have been here in mylot for nearly a year and i still like mylot a lot and its not because of the earnings but because of the knowledge that i get here. We can share any of our problems here and get an answer to it so, that way we solve or problems and in the same way we solve other's problems also. Welcome to mylot and wish you a happy stay here.

$0.28 for your first full day isn't bad at all since as you post more and get more friends you'll see your earnings increase substantially. I don't mean you'll make a fortune...lol...but you'll find yourself reaching payout probably your first month if you have it set to $10. MyLot has a complex method for calculating earnings according to their TOS so figuring it out exactly is something I haven't managed to do so far but as I said add some friends, add lots of interests and post away! Do your best to make "quality" posts, basically don't copy from others or repeat yourself and stay away from the one-word answers like "Yes", "No", and "Thanks". It's big amount already because i post 100 and mylot pays me 37cents. Keep posting my friend and soon you will receive your payout. I want to receive it too;) it really pays when you work hard by posting and joining to discussion;)

You won't get rich on Mylots but you will meet a lot of really nice people and increase your knowledge in a lot of different areas. People are always talking about making friends and you will but I have also found it invaluable in learning about new things. I am always finding something I didn't know. Don't look at this site as a money maker but as a way to widen you world. Good luck.

We are always seeing new questions about this all the time. Mylot doesn't have a set way of compensating people for their postings. It would be nice if they did and they would let us know but they don't. I closest I have come to deciphering its pay rate has been one cent per a post of 4 lines or more. 1 cent for one picture per a day.

Don't complain. That is $0.28 you never had, so you can't really say much.
