i dont. scientists are so weird. so many of their claims have been false, yet ppl still find them credible. i equate evolution with magic. both imaginary, yet has claims of proof. look at the differences between us, um...extreme. i've never seen a siamese or midget monkey. how come no other animals evolved like such? where did the monkeys come from. my biggest question is WHY WERE SCIENTISTS SO QUICK TO ASSUME WE COME FROM MONKEYS, HOW COME THEY DON'T THINK MONKEYS COME FROM US. before i'd believe a species got progressively dumber, quicker than i'd believe a WHOLE species intelligence increased by a million. ALSO, how come the rest of the monkeys didn't evolve. how come evolution stopped? what caused it?

Humans and monkeys have a common ancenstor that is all. Animals can have birth defects too but it is not something the media would actually report on. Some species contiue to evolve while others stay the same. Evolution is still happening. Some animals change while others stay the same. If they can't apadt then they will perish. As time goes on scientist find new discoveries which probaly contracts previous studies. So far evoltion does make sense but like everything else the theory isn't perfect.

Humans didn't come from monkeys and no one has ever said they do (except mis-informed Christians). Humans and apes have a common ancestor somewhere in the past.
It is true that many scientific theories have been proven false. The difference between science and religion is that scientists never claim to know all the answers and fully admit they may be wrong with their theories but they present the best they have to offer until more information becomes available. Religions say they know the truth and that is it. Where do they get their truth? From some book written thousands of years ago by people who had no knowledge of the things we have today. It is just a book of stories to teach people how to live.
Religion is myth.

I definitely believe n the evolutiontheory. There are lots of proof of it.
Like many have said, we don't com from monkeys, but primates share a common ancestor. That is most likely to be true, because of all the evidence.

well to begin with, evolution is a scientific theory and not 100% proven. It is still being finalized and processed. There are new discoveries which contribute to this theory all the time.
I also find it difficult to believe people would rape children, but it happens.
The reason they don't think monkeys came from us is because there are primate bones dating back before any human bones were found.
Also, its not monkeys... its primates.

First of all no-one is saying that we came from monkeys. According to evolutionary theorists primates and humans have a common ancestor. Secondly evolution has not stopped - it is a continuous process. In ten thousand years time who is to say what further developments will have taken place?
Yes of course there have been scientific theories in the past that subsequent scientific research has shown to be false. That doesn't mean science as a whole has no credibility.

You bring about a good point in your argument, but if you do not believe science then do you also not believe doctors when they tell you that you are sick? Or the bible for that matter? There is no proof of things in the bible and people still choose to believe. Why is what scientists say any different. You speak of magic, what proof is there that magic has anything to do with it? It's hard to come out and say you don't believe scientists when science plays a role in lots of things other then the study of evolution. Space, medicine, technology, psychology..are they all magic related? Or is it just evolution that scientists are wrong about? Meaning they are right when they find cures for diseases but wrong about the creation of the universe??

if we base our belief in science yes,we came from evolution...but according to the book of Genesis in the bible God created heaven & earth...
