Friendster: Where I met my husband

Yes!! It is surely true. I met my husband in friendster web site. I actually first befriended him because we live in the same city (Marikina City, Philippines) then we exchange messages, later on we give our mobile phones and exchange SMSs and finally, we've met at my house.
We've first still friends and after a year, I make him my boyfriend and after a year also, we decide to marry.
By then, I greatly appreciate the technology of web and internetworking.
Today, we already have a cute and beautiful little Nazey Margrette (which I get Nazey's name also at the web), she's already 1 yr old as of Oct 17 2007.

Wow! Friendster is remarkable and because of that you've managed to meet your husband. The internet has indeed managed to make the world a smaller place. Thanks to sites like friendster, I've managed to stay in touch with long lost friends and meet new people who on normal circumstances I wouldn't be able to meet because I'm too much of an introvert. Hopefully I'd be as lucky as you and find my soulmate online. LOL

Wow! See what the internet can do to humankind. It is not only a tool for communication, research, earnings, etcetera. It is also a way of meeting your future husbands. Anyway congratulations for the two of you.

What a sweet story! I remember my cousin just by reading your discussion. She met her husband online too, but through the chatroom. The guy was from Switzerland and started calling my cousin from time to time. Until such time maybe after a year or so, he just surprised her by visiting her here and he just asked her to get married! :)
Now they're peacefully living in Switzerland :)
