Dear friends, I really do apologise, I dont visit my profile page too often, hardly really! So when you leave a comment on my page, Im not ignoring you, I just dont go there often and there is no way of knowing you have a comment unless you check your profile, which I dont!
SO! If you leave me a comment, I greatly appreciate it, but dont feel too badly if I dont comment back. I just dont know its there, I will do my best to check it more often, see who stopped by! But please dont get offended, I have a terrible memory!! Thanks to those of you who do comment on my profile, its cheerful! Im going to make a sticky note for my monitor to check it daily! hehe
So how often do you actually visit your profile page here on myLot? Is it just me, or are there others that really dont think to go and look at it all that much?

Ha ha. I rarely EVER look at my profile so I like never leave people comments because I don't think about it.
Like, if you got notifications or something when you logged in that someone left you a comment, I'd notice more often, but I'm like you... Terrible memory.
Aside from comments there really is no reason to go and look at your own profile either, so I just never look at it.

LOL I know! I dont even remember why I went there to begin with. LOL But last night I went there and I had comments from like a week ago.....snuck past me! Yeah they can alert you for anything else on here, why not comments?

Guilty as charged!!! I know one time recently that I checked my profile I saw all these comments - like WAY old... I felt so bad!! I didn't know you could do that, let alone that people were doing it!! I did let some of them know I wasn't ignoring them but that I just didn't know about it. They were all pretty cool with it. I also try to remember to check it out every now and then...

Hi Dawn, so see there I have started something with many of us! LoL I just forget, unlike myspace Im always checking my comments. I guess I have to start thinking about myLot like myspace! :D

ACK!! I can't think of myLot like myspace - I hardly go there!!! I just am not into all that so I didn't even think to check it. Now that I do know about it I just forget all the time... Maybe I should do a sticky-note too????

lol...I guess this is my opportunity to apologize too. I don't visit my profile page either and wasn't aware that friends were leaving comments till one actually sent me a message asking me to check my profile page!

Hi SViswan,
Im going to do my best to check it more often. I really dont wnat anyone thinking Im ignoring them or being rude in anyway. Im not! So maybe this disucssion will just open up the eyes of some who might have felt this way about putting comments on profiles and not getting any responses back. Its not intentional. :)

Hi Bay Lay I dont look at my profile either. I know the last time I went there I was really surprised that so many people left nice comments on there. I never think to even go to my profile. Thats a very good idea about putting a sticky note to remind yourself to look every day. I should do the same. The people here are so nice dont you think?

Glad to know Im not the only one so far! lol I think its really nice too, and sometimes there is something there to lift you right out of a p!ssy mood if need be! Ive made my sticky note and Im going to check it daily from now on! Now watch, Ill do this, and there will be no comments from anyone! LOL
Yes the majority of the people here are very nice! I will agree with you on that one! ;o)

Earlier i used to visit my profile often and check if any comments had been put there by my friends..
Many of the times i see that there would be no such thing,..but i had a practice of dropping the greetings in my friends profile...
Soon the interest in it faded away..might be due to the dull response from them.. or 'coz they could have not noticed it,just as you.
So nowadays i have stopped dropping comments in the profile of the friends.

Hi Saivenkaat,
Well I can certainly see why you got discouraged from doing it. I guess that would make me refrain from leaving them too. But now you see they just may not check it daily or at all and they dont know they are there. It would be nice if they alerted you that you had a comment like they do when someone responds to a thread you started.

Well, I'm not one of them! I LOVE looking at my profile! I don't check it once a day, I check it many times a day! I love my avatar, I love my username, I love the soothing colors, I love finding that I got a new Best Response. I have heard it said that Aries people are really into themselves, and I am an Aries... maybe that explains it.
But I don't think that you should have to apologize for not checking yours! You're just too cool to be so blatantly impressed with yourself!

LOL Im an Aries too!! But I dont look at my profile page too often, I did make the sticky note, if I could I would show you. hehe
I dont know, I just dont go there much. I should treat it like myspace, but I get alerts when someone leaves a comment there, otherwise Im not there at all. Im going to look at it more often. I need to add some spice too it I guess, its just sort of plain jane right now.

Well, you've been around here longer than I have with more time to become bored with it.
But I love arranging my home too, so that I feel real good when I go into any of the rooms. I'll make up excuses to go into a room I've just re-arranged so I can admire it again, and again, and again. And when it gets to the point that the room doesn't have that effect on me any more, well, it's time to rearrange it again!

Guilty as charged ma'lady, I keep forgetting about my profile page, I collect my messages that are pm'd straight to my mailbox, but as to the messages on my profile I don't visit them as often as I should, a contact left me a message about a site and I only realized it was there and it was over a week old, ooops! That will teach me. Knowing my luck I could have a message saying you've won a thousand pounds but you must respond by yesterday LOL! Right, thanks my friend I will duly remember to check my profile messages at least once a day!

Ive been doing better, may not do it everyday but Im getting around to it much more than before.
I think I visit other peoples pages more than my own! I look around see what I can see. We just need to be that into ourselves Wolfie! lol

LOL Yes I visit others more than my own too Kowgirl. Ive been checking it every other day or so now. I have my sticky note to remind me!
The avatar, someone else said that too. Its 2 of them and one of them has its hands on its head and the other one is striking the page like "let us out". The creases are the page giving way when he pounds on it. Im not sure why it looks so small to some and not to others. I can clearly see what its doing, and others have said its clear. I guess it has something to do with screen resolutions and stuff. My apologies! :)

I do not visit my profile page that much, unless I want to add some more information. I just have the basic one, do not know how to arrange it so that the discussions I responded to are put on, or how to upload a different background using ftp. Since it contains the link to my blog. All I have to do is to open blogger and change that. I check others profiles to see if I can respond to some of their posts.

I would like to know how to put a background up too. I didnt know you had to use an FTP though, I dont have one on this PC and I dont think Im going to go through the trouble of downloading one to change the background. I wouldnt use it for anything else so it will stay as it is!
I go to others more than I go to mine too. lol Ive been going every other day though just to see and I have had some new comments so Im glad Im making it a habit now.

Yes you can do a lot with your profile page here at myLot, I managed to get some color too it, but I would like a background, just havent figured out how to do that just yet! haha

Dear friend, don't worry about such a think, because i think there are more people like you who don't check their profiles so often. when i was here first few days I didn't even know there is something like that where people can post the comment. And you know not long ago I just learn how to send them to someone. But still I would forget to check my own profile to look if I have some comments from friends. So don't worry, at least here is one person like you, who has a terrible memory. LOL

I dont remember why I went to my profile page, but I did and you had left me a comment and I thought WOW its been a week or so ago and Im thinking she probably thinks "b!tch didnt even comment back". Oh goodness, then I still didnt! I dont think. I have a terrible memory! Argh. And something else too, I just find myself spending hours looking for a cute comment! Which they are much easier and can say a whole lot more than any words you could write. Now if this was myspace, Id be all over the comment thing. hehe

Yes your right, we all have different chores in life. I still felt the need to say sorry publicly to let everyone know that I wasnt ignoring them. I just dont think to check it too often is all. Ive got other things on my mind. Thank you Orchidfish!
