From all the spam and the way that earning money is depicted on the internet, I'd say that the whole world would be homeless. haha honestly, I believe that the television wouldve been the main source of communication, oh and yes the telephone will rule and how can we forget good old snail mail.

My life is extremely dependent on the Internet. To envision a life without it is actually quite scary to me. Definitely a big impact on my career as well since I'm an IT professional. If it never happened, the libraries would definitely see more people. We'd be annoyed by having that ONE book we desperately need for our reports or presentations checked out and having to check daily to see if it was returned, IF it would even get returned. Students would no longer have time to do other activities or focus on other subjects because of the extreme amount of time trying to gather information needed for projects, where the Internet now cuts that down by 1000%. The positive of it would be the increased amount of social activity, though. We would no longer be tied to our computers playing games hours after hours. Instead, we'd be communicating more with our family and friends. Interactions would come back. The Internet is just NOW trying to become more social with the social networking sites that have come into play, but prior to that, it was more of an Anti-Social technology. I could go on and on... :)

We will still be playing computer games by ourself and writing letters to friends and have no idea what other part of this world look like unless we save some money and go over to that places. So to do that, we have to go to the bank and queue to get a big sum of money out and then visit the travel agent to get the ticket since it can't be bough online.

What could have happened? Haha, we'd be stuck with those thick encyclopedias. Libraries would be much crowded. ;D

In the first place, we start with no computer. Every thing is in manual. There are some people donot know what is internet although they know what is the purpose of the internet and what internet can do but they even don't know how to used it. :) But we the internet user if there is no one discover the internet maybe we are not here right now writing some discussions to earn in other words no mylot. No email add and no friendster. Maybe we cannnot communicate with our family and friends away from us or far from us. And we never meet. :)
