Jess, I hate to say this your fiance is doing his job. I want my husband back too but he signed up to do something to make a difference and that is what he is going to do. I'm sure your fiance knew exactly what was at stake when he signed up. The American troops are still in Iraq becomes it takes more then 2 years to completely remake a nation and bring down terrorists. Rome wasn't built in a day after all.

Thank you for agreeing with me. Most women that are married to a man in the military say yes the war should be over and as much as I want it to be, it would be extremely selfish of me.

We went there because it is big business and our soldiers are expendable for the sake of a buck. We don't like it but that is how it is.

We're still there because if we left now the country would be in worse shape then when we got there. When you topple a government you have a responsability to see it through to the end.Just like we did in Germany and Japan. Wether or not it was right to go in in the first place, leaving them now would not change that fact, only make things worse.
