yes i do think the decline of morality is caused mainly by media.
media today knows only competition, they are in the race of fame and money, no one cares for morality.
i dont know what censor board is doing, both actors and actresses are exposing themselves these days and guess what people are enjoying them.
news channels are in the hands of government, they play to the tone of wrong, misguiding the people.

There has long been a debate as to whether life imitates art or art imitates life so I'm not sure how to answer that question. I'm sure the media plays some part in things that have happened in our society but has there really been as large a decline of morality as we think? Could it be partly that things are now out in the open and talked about that were swept under the rug in the past?
Whatever the answer is I must say it's disturbing that some of the previous posters to this discussion seem to be advocating censorship as the solution. That's a very dangerous slippery slope to start down, in my opinion. Who will be the ones to make the final decision as to what we can or cannot watch on our own TV's in our own homes? Please, be careful what you wish for.
