How Often Do You Change Your Tastes?

What I am talking about is, have you noticed that when you were younger you loved certain things which now you wouldn't look twice at or want?
For example. Nearly all my life I hated wine! As strange as it may seems. Now I have suddenly developed a taste for red wine.
Have your music styles changed, where once you loved pop and now you love classical?
Have you noticed any big changes in your life in your tastes, be it food, music, outlook on life or whatever that once you would love and now you hate or the other way round?

Yes ..
When I was a child I loved sugary candy but now I get sick just thinking about it..
Now I love dark chocolate but when I was younger I only liked milk chocolate.
Also as I have aged due to life experiences I now like a quiet life where when I was younger I wanted to party all night.

Only one thing changed for me when Computers first appeared I hated them I would not go near them and now I would be lost without it

I noticed a big change in my taste for food after I had my kids. Don't know what caused it. When I was a kid I remember not really liking tacos. I would eat them but only on hard corn shells with lots of cheddar cheese and that was it.
now I crave them and have them on hard or soft shells with spicy refried beans, cheese, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and lots and lots of sour cream. Okay, I'm getting hungry now, lol.
I love zucchini and tomatoes now but when I was a kid I wouldn't eat them. But when I was little my parents tell me I loved seafood (lobster and shrimp) and I can't even stand the smell of them as an adult.
As a baby I loved spaghetti but as a kid I hated it. Now I enjoy it again. It fascinates me how my tastes change.
Clothes and music and all that have changed too. When I was a teen I listened to oldies and rap (I know strange combination). Now I only listen to country music if I have a choice. My clothing style hasn't changed as much. I still prefer jeans and t-shirts but they are a little neater now, lol.

Thank you, that would be my most adorable youngest daughter in my avi. Her name is Nora and she is almost 20 months old. She is just the cutest thing in the whole world (but, then again, I might be a tad biased).

The biggest change in my life as I've gotten older is that somewhere along the way I quit caring what other people think. Now I live for me. If people don't like how I live, what I say, or how I dress, it's just too bad. I don't mean that I'm rude, but I'm determined to live the rest of my life being true to myself, even if it does mean comfort flats when everyone else is wearing stilettos.

Hi there, well not surprising on tastes you taste that are different from when you first tasted them as a child, our taste buds change every 7 years so hopefully alot of things you didn't like as a child you will like now, might open a whole world of tasteful opportunity to you, my friend!

Yeah, I think part of it is we have grown up. When we grow up our tastes do change because of the things that have happened to us as we grew. Too serious!!!!
I used to hate olives and now I love them. I used to hate liver and onions and now I love them. And then the opposite happens, I used to love hot dogs, now I hate them. I used to love Kraft dinner, now I hate it. I used to love hard metal rock, now I hate it. So we do change our behavours as we grow and so do our tastes change.

I believe these beliefs changes as we become more aware of such things, we wouldn't understand it's purpose unless we don't give it a try.
As for me, I almost love everything. It only matters on my mood, I would listen to classical music if I think that the melody fits my taste!;) Same goes to almost everything, it depends on what I feel and what I missed doing.

I noticed that my tastes changed after I had my kids. I started liking stuff that I never did before. I'll put mustard on my sandwich, and I never did before. I also like tomatoes now. My music tastes really haven't changed, but then again, i've always liked a variety of music, so there wasn't much to be changed there.

Absolutely! My taste in music has changed... I used to listen to 'alternative music' when it was still called punk rock, now I listen to classical music, Indian music, Egyptian music, etc. I call it 'temple music', just stuff that's more relaxing - still passionate, just more soothing and beautiful - as opposed to loud and obnoxious.
My food tastes have changed as well. Granted, I still love chili cheese corn chips with a carton of chocolate milk every now and then, but for the most part I am now inclined toward healthier choices.
My beliefs have changed. I used to believe I was the best thing to happen to this world (when I wasn't believing that I was the worst thing!) Now I believe we are all of us the best thing, and I am more willing to 'allow' others to be who they are without feeling that my own reality is threatened as a result.
And I am still changing. I change from one day to the next, even moment to moment! I LOVE to change, it makes life so much more interesting and full of variety.

Yeah ,I find there are some changes in my life.Several years ago I liked reading novels ,but I didn't like it any more ,I feel it's so bore to read a novel .
The same ,I like eat junk food before, and now I don't like .
And sometimes I found I like somethings very much ,but not long time later, I didn't like it .How strange about this ?

Music desire is something that has not really changed over the period of time.I have been fixed to what was the stuff in my mind during my early teenage life.I love the old romantic songs and wish to enjoy in them every now and then. That has definitely been a constant stuff in my life. But for it all other tastes have gradually changed with my lifestyle and standard of living.
