i'm a policeman and here in italy we got a lot of problems with supporters of football teams who explode their hungry against police..
i think this is a big problem because we have to work hard to contain 100/200 animals for the wellness of the other quite and sportive people who goes to the stadium only to see the match and support their team!
Is this problem big as in other netions?
What's the solution to all this?
Close the stadiums? Arrest people?

I have a link to this story about how violence is entrenched in Italian culture, therefore bringing it onto your pitches.

Hope it helps you.

Hi mengo.
This is a very difficult problem to tackle here I feel.
I too am in Italy but I'm English. I've lived here long enough to appreciate the difference between italian and english character. The ultras here were once compared to hooligans in England but I feel there never was any similarity. In my home country the police are respected and I feel that the difference lies in this. For some reason that I am not aware of the ultras, and a lot of youngsters that never go near a football ground, have no respect for the police and the job they are doing. The reason for this lack of respect is unknown to me but I feel that once that is sorted out many of the problems, and not only those caused by the ultras, would be handled better.
I hope someone here can give you some ideas.
Welcome and Happy myLotting!
