I'm interested to know, most bloggers out there actually blog because they have a Passion for the Certain topic or because of able to earn an Income online.
I started off with a Passion on my blog, but somehow the Passion starts to burn off and the ability to earn money is pushing me to continue.
How do you balance between your Passion and not letting it overtake by the money involve causing you to force yourself to come out with Content which ends up a lousy piece?

You won't be able to write if its not from your passion. You can always have something to write if you really like it. If you just write for the money, you soon run out of thing to write because you don't really have passion...

yeah, agree. it's like trying hard to squeeze the content and theres no quality to it. soon it will end up as losing all readership as they find no meaning coming back.
maybe the ability to earn, we can see it as addition incentive of blogging but not as the main purpose?

Try to post something from your mind and just for your entertainment. If you can earn money, it is a good reward, too. Passion can bring you money. It is not shame.

I write for both, I am writing to earn some money and at the same pratice my long forgoten passion for writing. When I was in elementary, I like reading lots of stories then I would make a summary out of them. As I grow older I have forgeotten all about this. This is my reason for writing.

I can relate. I went from having no income jobs, accept for Mylot and Blogit, to having 3 jobs. Selling zines, writing for Disaboom, and writing for For Disabled Women.
Suddenly writing id way more of a job than a passion.

To me it seemed that money was a driver initially. I started off blogging on technical things and I'm happy to help my visitors when they encountered problems in their work. :) Well, I guess it works both ways as you still need supporters for your blog if you do not want your blog to end up in a blind corner of the internet. :)
