I'm such a chocolate fan that even when I decided to go on a diet, I've removed most of the carbo's except for chocolates. Anyways, this discussion is not about me but the chocolates from Belgium. They sure are famous for their chocolates and I can attest to that. One of my favorites is truffles. Very smooth and fine. A taste that you won't resist and will make you want for more. Their pralines are also exceptional with very distinctive taste. I've tried those from Corne Port Royal and Neuhaus...

Ugh, chocolate's the reason I can never stick to diets, lolz. I love chocolates, and Belgium chocs are certainly some of the best - I love Guylian (I can't remember whether that's how you spell it or not, lolz), they're the best chocolates on the planet, I swear.

Yeah, you spelled that right. We have it here too so I don't need to go to Belgium just to buy those chocolates although I'm missing this certain brand of truffles that I bought there (forgot the brand :-( but I'll know it when I see the packaging).

Wow, i wonder when i will be able to taste those original Belgian chocolates again... when i was at the Hearthrow Airport... i bought like only two bars because i thought i might not like them... but when i got home after a 24 hour flight... i took them out and tasted them... well...they tasted like chocolate heaven... then i started feeling sad why i only bought 2 bars...

That's too sad. Isn't there somewhat like a duty free store in your area? For sure they've got Belgian chocolates, though lesser choices.

Yeah I do taste Belgium chocolate and think it is one of the best chocolate in the world. i used to buy it a lot in germany, since it is so delicious and also it was pretty cheap there. I was looking long time here in usa for the same chocolate like this one but cannot find it for very long time. But last time we were shopping in wlarmart and i finally find it. The best about this chocolate is how rich it is.

I completely agree to that. The first time I've tasted Belgian chocolates, I could not believe how different and good it tasted compared to the other chocolates. It made me realized how real chocolates should taste. But I'm not saying the others aren't good. It's just that Belgian chocolates are very distinct. I guess that's why they're famous for that.

I too love Belgian Chocolates... especially truffles! And when I am cutting carbs in my diet I never cut out the chocolate! I'll cut out grains, vegetables, anything, but not chocolate!

I soooo love Belgian chocolates! Especially the dark ones. They're so rich. Aside from Belgian chocolates, you may want to try Meiji chocolates. If you love rich milky chocolates, I recommend them. They're from Japan but can be bought in some places outside the country. Their dark chocolate is very good too!

I'll see if I can find a Meiji chocolate in the imported goods section in the groceries here. I'm kinda shifting to dark chocolates but if their specialty is milk chocolates, then I'd better try that one.
