Oh yes! Of British cheeses, Cheddar of course, the most popular cheese in the world, crumbly Cheshire, tangy Lancashire, soft creamy Cornish Yarl, Caerphilly and the superb Stilton. Also, from France, Brie, Camembert and a cheese that nearly equals Stilton, Roquefort.

Well fair enough, I don't know of any American Cheeses, quite a few French but little of the rest of Europe, guess we tend to stick to what is produced locally or in neighbouring countries, maybe cheese was hard to export when travel was slow?
How could I have forgotten Wensleydale, ho hum

Can't really narrow it down to one but Stilton, A good farmhouse Cheddar and Lancashire.

Hi littlefranciscan! I do love to eeat cheese but the cheese don;t love me. haha..Well, I do have upset stomach whenever I eat cheese so I just watch my husband all the time when he eats cheese. he loves all kinds too but his favorite is motzarella, blue cheese and cheddar. I love cheese. I like it on almost everything. My son is a cheese freak! I have to buy him his own bag so he dosent eatwhats for dinner! LOL. My favorite cheeses are Onion cheese and pepperoni cheese. They are soooo good but very hard to find here. They only have it in the deli and thats a once in a blue moon deal.

Onion cheese and pepperoni cheese? Wow...I have never ever heard of these cheese..I am sure they must be utterly delicious..I bet your son gobbles up his cheese quickly ..doesn't he?

I love cheese. If I had to pick a favorite it would be swiss. My daughters loved cheese growing up. I could get them to eat vegetables if I melted cheese on them. I add cheese to my scrambled eggs. Just about everything tastes better with cheese!

Grilled cheese ..what kind of cheese do you like grilled.. and how many slices do you put into your sandwhich.. I like 2 or 3 so its really gooey and yummy:)

I like all kinds of cheese. I like it as spread on my burger or just pain bread, to put on samed baked food, or eat it plainly. But I don't eat it everyday. Just those times I feel like eating it.

motzeralla cheese is nice with tacoes and my cheese i like i dont know if you have it in your country is a block of cheese its yummy for me and slice cheese too thanks for this discussion

I Wonder if they use motzerella cheese in their tacos here.. I think here they use american cheese or cheddar cheese... I have not heard of block cheese but I am sure it's yummy..I havent tasted a cheese that I did not like;)

SOOOO many choices. Depends on the dish. Ultimately bleu would be my choice. Very versatile. In dressings crumbled, on chicken. Great on burgers. Terrific in mashed potatoes. I like most cheeses.

I like Bleu Cheese Dressing but I don't know that I see it sold in the Deli. It's got a nice taste to it in the dressing.. I can imagine that crumble on chicken it would taste absolutely yummy..Now I am getting hungry;) LOL
