do you notice that some pork and beans that are sold in the marketplace contains more beans than pork? some products does not contain pork even. I call it beans and beans since it contains only beans. what is your opinion? have you noticed it too?

Actually, here in Canada, all I have ever seen in any can of beans, for pork, was just a little pork scrap. In fact I think the largest piece of pork I have ever seen in a can of beans was, at the most, a one inch cube. I have however seen cans of beans and wieners that had a few wieners in them but not an equal amount to the beans.

we noticed that since we are kids and what was funny we always find just one small piece of pork in a can of pork and beans. we asked our tatay why is that like that and my tatay will answer "thats why it said pork and beans not porks and beans." we all laugh and realize it at the same time. whahaha

Hi rouwel23! Yes, I have noticed that too and it is not even pork meat most of the time, it is pork fat. haha.. I guess, that is why the pork is in singular form and the beans is in plural form. LOL! just kidding. Take care and have a nice day. :)
