Does anyone know anything about cats?

I have a 10 year old Tabby and she has always eaten dry food (Iams Only)until she couldn't hold it down anymore and I started her on the can food which she doesn't hold much of it down either. The vet said it is just caused from hair balls and gave me something for that. I am really worried about her, because she has lost so much weight. I know she is getting up in age, but she is still my baby and was wondering if anyone could advice me on what may help her. The vet can't. Thanks

yes i have to cats and 3 kittens and give the food that we eat cause they eat what we eat too try it or you can give her chicken loaf i dont know if you got that in your coutry but i know in Australia we have it thanks for your discussion and i hope it helps your cat

Thanks for responding, I will have to try feeding her our food. As for the chicken loaf, not sure if we have that or not. Thanks again.
