"Mercy" made this a number 1 hit song in 1969, ya we're talking about a song here! I was listening to it and it brought back memories when i was a teen and i had puppy love! She crushed my heart, but we became good friends as we became adults! lol! I laugh about it now because i was so hurt then, but it seems silly today, no offense Vera! She can't hear me, honest.
As i get older i realize this song is as good today as it was back then, maybe because love will always be love even though people change! This song can be found on Youtube, yes Youtube! :) No i didn't put it on there!

I don't know about that, to love to get hurt and to love again! That sounds like self punishment! lol! But that's sure the way life is for most people, to live, love and learn! As the saying goes, It's better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all! Take care Bong. :)

Hi budsr03! I do know that love can make me happy because i am very much happily in love with my husband until now and with the love I have with my family. Love does make my life so beautiful even though I run out of cash all the time. haha.. I really don't know the song but I will be looking it up on youtube. I do love old love songs. I'm so glad to hear that your very much in love! I miss the pure joy feeling of being in love. I think for some people, too many of life's interferences can make them become distant from each other! It's hard to get this back! My day was good and i hope you have a good love filled day Faith. :)

Hi budsr03! Thanks, I did have a day filled with love. My husband always makes me laugh and he hates it when he can't see a smile plastered on my face. haha..Anyway, he enjoys it when I laugh even at his corniest jokes. And now I am scared that when I really grow old, my face will have so many laugh lines. haha..
