My husband had the best aunt anyone could ever wish for. He said when he was 3 years old up till he was around 10 this aunt (Linda) would get him all the coolest toys he ever wanted. She reads him stories and takes him out to the park. She spends not only quantity time with him but quality time as well. When he got hurt one time it was she who came over to help him while others were pointing fingers at what he should and should not have done. She didn't judge him. She had not only an open ear to listen to his problems but also an open heart to love him even with all his faults (so some would call it). My daughters are also blessed with two wonderful aunties who does the very same thing. How many of you out there have been blessed with such an aunt?

Yes, I had one too. When I was growing up, it was my aunt who sometimes took care of us while my mom is working. She helped my mom when my dad was working abroad. That was when she was single then when she got married, though she had kids to take care on her own, she still remained thoughtful. She buys us toys and still has time for us. She's the reason why me and my cousins had grown so close.

Then you are truly blessed. I am happy that you have such a bond with your cousins. It is wonderful when someone in your family loves you regardless of what mistakes you made. They even love you like their own kid. :)
