On this Thanksgiving holiday I have been really thinking about all of the wonderful things that have happened to me. For one, I have met some very wonderful people on mylot. I am very thankful to you guys for your continued support and encouragement in my life. It means so much to me! So, I thank you for that. I give thanks for having a wonderful husband who is my hero. He has sacrificed his freedom, time and efforts to serve these last few years in the sand box. He has spent part of the years 2005, 2006, 2007 and will be spending most of the year of 2008 in Iraq. We haven't spent much time together, but I admire, respect and love him all the more for his sacrifices. I give thanks for my daughter for being such a good kid and trying to get through all of these changes as best as she can. I give thanks for good parents and a good brother. I give thanks for a good congregation I attend for church. They have been a continuing source of support and love. Most of all, I give thanks to God. Without him, we are nothing. So, to all of you out there in Mylot land....Happy Thanksgiving and don't forget our men and women who are serving far away from their families and friends this holiday season. Say a prayer for them!

Congratulations for your heart throbbing discussion. I stand by you on this thanksgiving holiday to say thanks to God, My parents and siblings,my husband and kids and all the helpers who help me directly or indirectly for my well being and prayto this sanskrit verses:

i give thanks for my mom because she born me take care me and give education to me,i love my mom because my mom helpful, nice and other. i love my mom ever after and happily.

Prayers have been said on my behalf. Thank You for this nice post. After reading this I thought, "You know it would be interesting to know just how many people have said a prayer through myLot for people we have never met and will likely never meet." I know for a fact I have favorite cyber friends that have said a prayer or two for me and I have also said prayers for tons of people, I think myLot is good and as you've already said without God we're all nothing!!!

I agree! I have said many prayers for many people in my time on mylot. Sometimes I just say a general "please help everyone through their time of need or please bless everyone that is connected to me in this life". Something to that effect. When I say I am going to pray for someone, I normally do say a prayer and keep them in my thoughts. I think alot of us out here in mylot land do pray for our other mylot friends, I know some of us have had great deal of pain or great amounts of joy but they share these moments with us. I think that is special! Thanks for your thoughts and your response!

I thank God for having met you here....
I say Amen to what you said... let's thank HIM for everything that came to our lives and for other things that HE has done for us that we not aware of.. all praises and thanksgiving be upon HIM who cause us to live.

It pleasing to learn of the good things God has made possible for you, a wonderful daughter and a heroic husband who is putting his life on harms way for the good of mankind. I love to hear you believe in God and pray. Nothing is impossible with God, keep you faith glowing, it will protect you and your family even in a dangerous place like Iraq-God is the ultimate Protector, the unsleeping watchman over our lives. Be blessed abundantly and Praise and thank Him all the time! Hug your Husband of for us, I consider him a man of exceedingly high courage, a Hero indeed!

Bless your husband and please thank him for all he's done for our country. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers throughout this holiday season.
I am thankful for having a wonderful family which now also includes two beautiful grandchildren. Am thankful for being alive and well.
