Sylar's powers

Sylar seems to have lost the ability to control any power he posesses, will he get them back? And if so, will he have the powers hes absorbed since losing control (Illusion from the woman that took care of him)?

Sylar still has the ability to his power.Just wait and see in heroes season 2.

That's okay, I hope Sylar gets cured though.. and maybe turn back to good? If only Sylar's mother hadn't kept pushing him to be special! "You can be more than this" she says! "You could even be the president!" she says! If she'd kept her mouth shut, we'd have one less super-powered villain to deal with!

I think the company injected Sylar with the virus and that's why he doesn't have his powers anymore. They figured out it was the only way for them to be able to control him. Otherwise I don't see why he hadn't got his powers back. Also, they didn't even bother showing how he lost his powers.

Not sure how they are going to answer this or any of the other hundreds of questions still dangling out there with only 3 more episodes. This writer's strike BLOWS!!!
About your question, if he had lost his powers then it would seem to me that even if he gets them back, he wouldn't be able to get the illusion one since he didn't have the power to "take" it. I'm guessing he had to manually cut her head open too since he couldn't do that cool finger cut thing.
I'm still wondering... Does he eat the brains or what? What does he DO to the brains once he opens up a head?

The woman's name is Candi by the way and I'm not sure if he would get his old powers back or not because if the powers are controlled by the brain (and we know they are) and we saw Hiro stab Sylar right in the spine the oxygen supply to his brain might have been cut off damaging the part of the brain that controls the powers.
