Do you listen to music while you are cleaning your house?

Basically that's the only time I listen to music. I crank it up and dance with a broom! lol...it makes the housecleaning chores go by so much faster when I'm having fun!

This helps me focus in cleaning. The things I listen are quite noisy ones :)

I listen to music anytime I have to do some knod of tedious work. On the bus, or while waiting for something or especially when cleaning. It seems to make me feel better and I am much more motivated while I am working. I usually get much more done and stay more focused on my task. I don't really have a favorite cd but any song on my ipod seems to do.

Hello luvstochat. Like you, I do like to listen to music when I am cleaning. I find it boring when there isn't any music playing in the background. There are times that I sing along to the songs that are being played. My favorite cd that I listen to when I clean is mostly upbeat songs.

When I am cleaning I tend to listen to audiobooks or podcasts on my Ipod. I think it is a better use of my time than just listening to music. Try it out some time it really makes the time fly.

I love to listen to music while I clean too!! Usually I just listen to my Ipod or the radio. I think today I might start Christmas music though! ;) =)

i don't really turn on anything while cleaning. the tv and the radio is off. it's just because i want to concentrate on what i am doing. i love music. don't get me wrong. that's why while cleaning, i usually sing even if i don't have a good voice. anne

Yes, I love music and it helps me to do my daily chores, I always have my Ipod on whilst I am hoovering, washing, etc, it is good because I can't hear the telephone ring, the telephone will interupt my work, so everything else is put on hold until I do all my housework, I do it all at once to get it over and done with then I can relax. I sing along to the music I hear too!

yes love to listen to music when house cleaning turn it way up even the neighobrs can hear it if they are outside. Seems like it gets done faster that way and then we usually end up danceing or I do sometimes sing along also

Me, too!!! I don't do it all the time, but sometimes I also sing along to the music. I don't have a fave CD, 'coz usually I turn on my Yahoo Music on my YM he he he he...

yeah specially when im alone in the house while im cleaning i dance and sing i like the dance song not love song because if love song i feel senti so better to listen to those rock and roll song while mopping the floor:-)

Yes. It's the ideal time to listen to music. You tend to work faster while listening to music. I usually listen to heavy songs while cleaning so as to increase my pace. I tend to work along with the pace of the song.

Sometimes I do. I put on some Pacific Island music and sing along with the songs. Not only is it relaxing but it also pumps me up to keep going LOL

When I clean my downstairs area I always listen to music. I like to her it as I dust, clean and tidy away. It gives me inspiration and can make me feel very happy. I think dance music makes to me work in a particularly speedy way. My favorite thing to listen to at the moment is a disk playing 80s dance music. I brings back happy memories of a great time in my life. When I clean upstairs I do things a bit slower possibly because I don't have any music up there. I don't ever sing along. Well my singing is really really really awful and no one deserves to hear it.

Music makes chores seem less like chores. I love to listen to music while I clean. I don't have a particular CD that I always listen to, but I usually play something that is upbeat and that I can sing or dance to in order to keep me in a good mood so I don't get bored. Like you, if I had the TV on I might get interested in what is on and sit down to watch. I would never get anything done. But I do sometimes have the TV on while I sit and fold laundry, or make a grocery list.
