What is so funny about places that are not yo homeland or country of origin?

The way people of various tongues or language speek is so funny to me but still is so intresting and I don't wish to stop find out or leastening to other people's languages.

Be ROMAN IN ROME haven't you heard of this proverb. Languages are great fun and learning them is even more fun. If you drop cup and a saucer of china, the sound it makes is the name of some chinese. People learn a lot by seeing and hearing rather than speaking.The more languages you know, more friends you will have and at times it comes handy.

God should help people to learn maximum number of languages so that they can appreciate the world much better. In India, even if is our homeland, we hear thosands of different languages, dialects. Within 200 kms distances, we have 10 different languages.But it was never a preblem. As you said it is funny and interesting.
